Basis Audionet announces upgraded version and showcase of its Communications Client at Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO East 2009

Hamburg, Germany, (01/19/09) - Basis Audionet, a German full-service IT organization that develops and supports carrier and enterprise-grade solutions for the telecommunications industry, today announced that the company will attend the TMC’s Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO East 2009, February 2 - 4, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida.
Rüdiger Kaun, CEO of Basis Audionet, said: “After the successful participation in 2008, we are happy to once again be a part of the world’s largest and most highly-attended IP Communications trade show. For Basis Audionet TMC’s Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO is the perfect platform to showcase our innovative products.”

This year, Basis Audionet will present a new, upgraded version of its Communications Client combining the diversity of today’s multimedia communications in the form of a single soft-client application. The software includes services like video conferencing, advertising server integrations, SMS/MMS and VoIP telephony.

The recent release is the latest add-on to Basis Audionet’s Multi-Client Communication Suite (MCCS), its leading-edge, multi-tenant IP communications Class-V platform.

Users will experience the easy way of communication. Incorporating HTTPS tunneling technology enables the Communications Client to seamlessly work with any Internet access technology. Wherever it may be, the Client provides real time audio and video communications translating into value-added, cost efficient services. Subscribers benefit from seamless functionality, irrespective of the access technology deployed, mitigating issues commonly associated with firewall configurations.

The Communications Client is also capable of running from a service provider branded USB audio device. A PC with access to the Internet and a USB port is all that is required to enjoy intuitive, premium quality VoIP and video calls. In addition to using the Communications Client as a desktop application, a user can manage an individual account via the web-based Self Care Portal.

Basis Audionet will showcase its Communications Client at Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO in Miami, held February 2 - 4, 2009, booth 427.
